Choose a tone for Boost to write in, so every AI-generated response sounds consistently like your organization.
What Voice & Tone does
Under Your Voice in Every Response, Grantboost lets you set a preferred tone that Boost applies whenever it writes for your organization: “Make every response sound like you and your team’s unique voice.” Setting a consistent tone helps build trust and consistency with funders across every application your team submits.
Choosing a tone
- Go to Settings.
- Click the Voice & Tone tab.
- Under Select your preferred tone, open the dropdown and choose an option, such as Formal, Direct, Warm, Personable, Compelling, Assertive, Convincing, Passionate, Informative, Clear, Compassionate, Expressive, Engaging, or Detailed.
- Click Set Tone.
You’ll see a confirmation that your settings have been saved. From then on, Boost factors your chosen tone into every response it writes for your organization, across conversations, templates, and rewrites.
Availability
Setting a custom voice and tone is a feature for upgraded (Pro) accounts. If you’re on a free account and try to change the tone, you’ll see an upgrade prompt instead of being able to save your selection. See Plans and Free Actions for details on what’s included at each plan level.
