Plans and Free Actions

A guide to Grantboost's plan tiers, what each one unlocks, and how the free monthly allowances work.

Overview

Grantboost has two core tools:

Which of these you can use, how many teammates you can add, and how many projects you can run all depend on your plan.

Plan tiers

Grantboost’s paid plans are built around two capabilities — Grant Matcher access and AI Assistant access — plus how many teammates and projects you need. The exact plan names and prices you see on your Billing page may vary, but they map to these tiers:

A “Write only” tier (AI Assistant without Grant Matcher) also exists in Grantboost’s system with the same limits as the Solo/Find plan, but it isn’t offered as a standard option on the upgrade page — if you need writing-only access, contact Grantboost.

Paid plans are available billed monthly or annually, and annual billing saves you money over paying month to month — for example, the Solo/Find plan saves $84/year, Find & Write saves $120/year, and Autopilot saves $156/year compared to paying monthly. Enterprise pricing is custom — reach out via the “Contact Us” option on the upgrade page. See the pricing page for current details.

What Grant Matcher access unlocks

Plans with Grant Matcher access (Solo/Find, Find & Write, Autopilot, and Enterprise) give you unlimited use of Grant Matcher — searching, scoring, and tracking grant opportunities that match your organization. Without it, you’re limited to a small number of free grant views each month.

What AI Assistant access unlocks

Plans with AI Assistant access (Find & Write, Autopilot, Enterprise, and the Write-only tier) give you unlimited use of the AI Assistant, letting you draft and refine grant-application content without worrying about running out of Boosts. Without it, you’re limited to a small number of free Boosts each month.

Team member and project caps

Every plan limits how many teammates you can invite and how many total projects (separate organization or grant profiles, including your main one) you can manage at once — see the table above. If you try to invite a teammate beyond your plan’s limit, you’ll see a prompt to upgrade instead of the invite going through. See Managing Your Team for details on inviting and removing members.

Free monthly allowances

If you haven’t subscribed to a paid plan, your account gets a free monthly allowance instead of unlimited access:

These allowances reset automatically once a month, on the same day of the month you originally created your account (your “signup anniversary”). For example, if you signed up on the 14th, your free Boosts and free grant views top back up on the 14th of each following month.

This reset only applies to accounts on the Free plan. Once you upgrade to a paid plan that includes Find and/or Write access, you get unlimited use of those features instead of a monthly allowance.
