Update your personal details, teach the AI more about you with custom fields, and change your email or password.
Updating your name and title
Your name and title help the AI Assistant understand who you are and tailor its writing accordingly.
- Click your account menu and open Boost Writing AI Settings.
- Select the User tab. You’ll see the Basic User Information card.
- Update Your Name.
- Choose your Title from the list (for example, Grant Writer, Nonprofit Manager, Executive Director, Fundraiser, or Other). This tells the AI your role so it can better understand your responsibilities.
- Click Save Changes.
You’ll see a confirmation message (“Settings Have Been Saved”) once your changes are saved.
Adding custom information the AI uses about you
Beyond your name and title, you can teach the AI additional facts about yourself that it should remember and refer to when writing on your behalf — for example, an award you’ve received or relevant experience.
- Go to Boost Writing AI Settings > User.
- Scroll to the Custom Fields card (“Create your own inputs”).
- Under Field Name, enter a short name for the field — this is how the AI will refer to it (for example, “My Background”).
- Under Field Value, enter the information you want saved (for example, “2007 Times Person of the Year Recipient”).
- Click Create.
Your custom field appears in the list below the form. To remove one, click delete on that field.
There’s a similar Custom Fields section under the Project tab for information about your organization or team as a whole (rather than about you personally), which the AI also draws on when writing.
Changing your email or password
- Click your account menu and open Account Settings.

- Click Update Account.
You’ll see a confirmation message (“Settings Have Been Saved”) once your changes are saved.
